Acceptance

By downloading, accessing, or using Moodly, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Not medical advice

Moodly is an emotional reflection and journaling app. It is not a medical device, therapy service, crisis service, diagnosis tool, or substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or emergency help.

If you may harm yourself or someone else, or if you are experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services immediately.

Eligibility and use

Moodly is rated 4+ on the App Store. If you are a minor, you should use Moodly only with permission from a parent or legal guardian where required by law.

You are responsible for how you use Moodly and for keeping your device secure. You may not misuse the app, reverse engineer it, attempt to bypass subscription limits, or use it in a way that violates law or harms others.

Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Moodly may offer Free, Premium, and Unlimited plans. Paid subscriptions unlock additional features such as AI insights, full journal tools, weekly recaps, challenges, voice journaling, health correlations, personality features, and customization depending on the selected plan.

  • Payments are charged to your Apple ID through the App Store.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple before renewal.
  • Free trials, if offered, are managed by Apple and convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
  • Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple according to Apple’s policies.

Your content

You keep ownership of the journal entries, attachments, reflections, and personal content you create in Moodly. You give Moodly permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide the app features you choose to use.

You are responsible for the content you add, including photos, videos, locations, voice notes, and Apple Journaling Suggestions.

AI insights and challenges

Moodly may generate prompts, challenges, emotional summaries, personality-style reflections, and weekly recaps. These outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not appropriate for every situation. Use them as reflection support, not as professional advice.

Availability and limits

We may update, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features when needed for security, reliability, compliance, or product improvement. Some features depend on iOS permissions, Apple services, StoreKit, Apple Health, Journaling Suggestions, Photos, Location, Microphone, and internet availability.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you through the app or website. Continuing to use Moodly after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
